Yokohama, Japan – October 2025 - Microwave Factory (MWF), in collaboration with Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) and Anritsu, proudly announce the release of MATEOS: a software solution for high-speed specific absorption rate (SAR) measurements of 5G standalone (SA) 5G non-standalone (NSA), and 4G long-term evolution (LTE) devices.
MATEOS seamlessly integrates SPEAG's cSAR3D vector array system and Anritsu's MT8000A/MT8821C base station simulator, enabling fast and fully automated SAR measurements. Previously, users had to manually configure and set up the call in MT8000A/MT8821C. Now, the entire process can be controlled through a single interface, significantly reducing setup time. MATEOS supports not only LTE (4G) but also 5G NR SA and NSA.
SAR measurements are instrumental for ensuring mobile device compliance with human exposure limits. Providing fast, stable SAR measurements is crucial, making this collaboration extremely important.
